To celebrate the release of her latest album, global pop icon Dua Lipa took over the streets of Europe with a vibrant and immersive campaign. The mission? Create buzz around the album drop, drive plays on streaming platforms, and activate the liveliest neighborhoods of three major European capitals.
Our team designed a fun, flavorful, and high-impact street marketing operation that brought music (and sugar) directly to fans.

Objectives
Promote the launch of Dua Lipa’s new album
Drive listens across Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming platforms
Reach high-traffic urban areas in Paris, Madrid, and London
Create an unforgettable brand experience in the streets
The Setup: A Sweet Ride with a Soundtrack
For three consecutive days, we deployed one blue total-covered food truck per city, fully branded with Dua Lipa visuals and equipped with speakers to play the album on repeat.
Each truck was strategically located in vibrant, youth-driven zones:
Paris: Bastille & Châtelet
Madrid: Principe Pio
London: Westfield White City
To create a memorable interaction with the public:
6 brand ambassadors per city welcomed passers-by
Distributed custom Dua Lipa goodies (T-shirts, ice cream & cotton candy)
Encouraged engagement through a campaign hashtag redirecting fans to the album
Key Results
3 days of simultaneous activation in 3 iconic cities
Over 10,000 ice creams and cotton candy treats distributed
The album reached #1 in sales in France, Spain, and the UK within a week of the campaign
A Case Study in Music-Driven Street Marketing
This operation proves that when music meets the street, the impact is instant. A smart and playful urban campaign can turn a release into a full-blown public experience, drive engagement, and elevate brand presence across borders.
At Alternacom, we design activations that turn public spaces into stages for brands. Whether you're launching an album or a product, we'll help you create street moments that stick.
